IKON Model 10089 is a double-high VMEbus pin-compatible emulation of theDEC DR11-W parallel DMA interface.The device uses DEC-style unified bus transceivers for all externalsignals. Byte swapping is provided with separate switches for DMA andProgrammed I/O. DMA logic on the 10089 is all bipolar with a 20MHz clock.The 10089 provides full 32-bit addressing capability and a 32-bit datapath on the VMSbus. Output is FIFO-buffered, and input is double-buffered. Transfer rate is over 3 MB per second in input mode and up to6 MB per second in output mode.
